WHERE IS CAMP HOSTED?
Camp will be at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Encampment in Cedar Hill, TX. You can find out more about the camp site at www.mtlebanoncamp.com.
WHO WILL BE TEACHING MY CHILD AT CAMP?
Kids will be put into groups based on their age and gender and placed with a leader from The Vista. This is the leader that they will meet with during the day for Bible study and who will guide them through their daily schedule. The camp pastor is Keith Coast, a Kids Ministry speaker and entertainer. You can find out more about Keith on his website at www.keithcoast.com.
WHO WILL BE LEADING WORSHIP AT CAMP?
Yancy will be leading worship at preteen camp. Yancy provides fun and meaningful songs that include audience participation as a part of the worship experience. Yancy uses music to teach biblical truth and help kids express their hearts to Jesus. She has a passion for leading worship and sharing her testimony. WHEN DO WE LEAVE AND RETURN?
We will leave from The Vista parking lot at 7:45 AM on Monday, June 18. We will return to The Vista parking lot at approximately 12:00 PM on Friday, June 22.
DOES MY CHILD HAVE TO PARTICIPATE IN EVERY ACTIVITY? CAN THEY DO THEIR OWN THING?
No one at camp is made to participate in any activity, but you get out of it what you put into it. However, everyone must be with their group at their assigned location at all times. (i.e. You don’t have to swim, but you have to be at the pool watching everyone swim. You don’t have play the recreation games, but you do have to be on the recreation field encouraging your team.)
WHAT IS THE COST OF CAMP?
The cost of camp is $200.00 per camper. (Limited scholarships are available. E-mail firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.) A deposit of $50.00 is due at the time of registration to hold your spot for camp. Payment can be made through the online registration form. Payment plans are available, however, payment in full is due by Sunday, June 3, 2018.
MY CAMPER NEEDS TO TAKE MEDICATION. HOW DOES THAT WORK AT CAMP?
The camp provides a full medical staff the week of camp that will maintain and administer all medications. If your child is on any prescription medication, be sure to complete the medication chart on the online registration form. As needed, over the counter medications will not be brought to camp without a written need from your family doctor.
