Host Team exists to create an environment in which all guests feel loved, welcomed, and wanted.  Our volunteers serve in various ways in order to accomplish this goal!

Greeter

  • Welcome guests by saying "hello", flashing warm smiles, opening doors, passing out bulletins, directing guests to the Welcome Desk or other areas of the building, and answering questions.
  • Send-off guests by saying "good-bye" and opening doors after service ends.
  • Serving Options:
    • Sunday Morning: 20 minutes before service until 15 minutes after service; every other week
    • Sunday Evening: 20 minutes service until 15 minutes after service; every other week

Usher

  • Welcome guests by saying "hello", directing guests to open seats, and assisting with overflow seating processes.
  • Assist with collecting offering at the end of service.
  • Occasionally assist with greeting as needed.
  • Serving Options:
    • Sunday Morning: 20 minutes before service until 15 minutes after service; every other week
    • Sunday Evening: 20 minutes service until 15 minutes after service; every other week

Cafe Team

  • Welcome guests by providing hot coffee, cold water/lemonade, and mints.
  • Provide a space for guests to build relationships and connect with others through fellowship and conversation.
  • Serving Options:
    • Sunday Morning: 7:30am to 12:00pm; once every 4 to 6 weeks
    • Sunday Evening: 4:15pm to 6:15pm; once every 4 to 6 weeks

Prayer Team

  • Support guests by providing space and time for in-the-moment, in-person prayer during the worship response time at the end of service.
  • Serving Options:
    • Sunday Morning: 8:30am, 10:00am, OR 11:30am; every other week
    • Sunday Evening: 5:00pm; every other week

Parking Team

  • Welcome guests by providing efficient and timely parking procedures and directions.
  • Assist with keeping guests safe when entering and exiting the parking lot on foot or in vehicles.
  • Serving Options:
    • Sunday Morning: 8:00am to 10:30am OR 10:30am to 12:45pm; every other week
    • Sunday Evening: 4:30pm to 6:30pm; every other week

Sunday
Set-up Team

  • Assist with creating a space that is clean and orderly for guests to feel comfortable and safe to worship and experience Christ during services.
  • Serving Timeframe:
    • Weekly for 1 hour on Monday

Connect Card Follow-up Team

  • Make all guests feel loved, welcomed, and wanted, by providing timely, efficient, and accurate responses to their Connect Card inquiries
  • Serving Timeframe:
    • Weekly for 2 to 3 hours on Sunday

Sunday Social Media Host

  • Welcome all remote guests by providing timely, efficient, and accurate responses to social media feedback to include reports of technical difficulties, inquiries about next steps, requests for prayer, etc.
  • Serving Options:
    • Sunday Morning: 8:15am to 12:45pm; every other week
    • Sunday Evening:  4:45pm to 6:15pm; every other week
